Poplar Trees line the gravel driveway as you approach magnificent Vaucluse, situated on the banks of the South Esk River in Tasmania. Fields scattered with grazing sheep surrounded by midland farmland flank the driveway, with spectacular views across to the Ben Lomond Mountain range.

Arriving at Vaucluse Homestead is like being transported to another era, and you can almost imagine the horse and cart making its way up the driveway, was it to happen today, it certainly wouldn’t be out of place and would be in keeping with the romance and nostalgia of the property.

Soak in the panoramic views, stroll through the grounds, relax in one of the opulent lounges or library, retreat to a quiet corner to read, rest or simply leave the hustle of daily life and reconnect.

You can do as much or as little as you please as you relax, retreat or explore.

With a full scale renovation recently completed, Vaucluse Tasmania is now open for special events, corporate events, weddings and retreats. We look forward to welcoming you and providing a relaxed and memorable stay.

Whether you’re looking for a wedding venue, celebrating an anniversary/milestone or just want to get away with friends, Vaucluse accommodates countless options.
