Terms and Conditions
ACCOMMODATION
These terms and conditions apply to accommodation. By making a booking for accommodation, you warrant that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to such changes as are notified to you from time to time. If the booking for accommodation is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.
GENERAL TERMS
Where indicated, minimum stay conditions apply to accommodation options. Vaucluse Tasmania will endeavour to provide the accommodation but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings due to insufficient or excessive numbers of requests. All accommodation is subject to availability. Maximum occupancy per room is two-three people, depending on room type. Check in time is 2pm. If you would like to arrive before this time you will need to pre arrange this with our booking office. Please note that our Reception closes at 9pm. Late check-in would require arrangement prior to the day of arrival. A valid credit card is required for any incidentals. Checkout time is 10am. Pets are not permitted.
BOOKING POLICY
All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of credit card details. By providing credit card details you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Vaucluse Tasmania to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card. You will not be charged for an accommodation booking prior to the date on which you are due to arrive unless previous arrangements have been made directly with Vaucluse Tasmania. A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed. Rates are per room, per night based on two-person occupancy, and include breakfast daily. Additional per person rate charge applies to additional room occupants and/or when requiring the use of additional bedding POA.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellation fees for accommodation are as follows for Vaucluse Tasmania:
14 days or more prior to arrival: nil
13 days or less prior to arrival: agreed rate for one night per room cancelled
If a deposit has not been paid then cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card held as a guarantee.
If a deposit has been paid:
and the amount of the deposit is more than the cancellation fee then the cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of the deposit will be refunded.
and the amount of the deposit is less than the cancellation fee then the deposit will be taken in part payment of the cancellation fee and the balance of the cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card held as a guarantee.
No refund will be given for any unused services or non-arrival.
Cancellations must be made by notifying Vaucluse Tasmania by phone between the hours of 8am and 7pm 7 days a week and confirming in writing via email enquiries@vauclusetasmania.com.au
In the event Vaucluse Tasmania or a third-party operator cancel an experience booked by guests, all monies paid for that experience booking will be refunded in full within 14 days of the date of cancellation.
The liability of Vaucluse Tasmania arising from any cancellations of accommodation or experiences by Vaucluse Tasmania or a third-party operator is limited to the amount paid for the cancelled booking.
These terms and conditions do not apply to any third-party operators, booking platforms or agents. These parties have their own terms and conditions which apply to bookings made via them.
